Shelby was born and raised in Whakatane.
She graduated in 2013 with a veterinary nursing certificate from Wintec, Hamilton.
She spent five years in the Waikato area before returning back to the sunny Bay of Plenty.
Shelby enjoys all aspects of nursing but especially loves assisting in surgery as well as creating a strong rapport with her clients.
She loves the variance of the job and never knowing what might come through the door next.
She is enjoying her role as a veterinary nurse, caring for the hospitalised patients on their journey back to good health.
On her days off you will find her running trails, walking her dog and doing outdoor activities.
