Summer threats for your pets.

Many of us love summer - nothing is more appealing than those long sunny days, warm nights, family time outdoors, and spending more time with our pets.

There is one downside to be aware of: summer can bring threats to our pets.

Summer sun increases the risk of dehydration and sunburn. Some summer fruits and holiday treats are toxic to dogs and cats. Summer flowers bring busy bees with stings, and higher temperatures can mean itchy skin, heat stroke, eye and ear infections, paw injuries, and anxiety.
