Senior Veterinarian Large Animal

Don has been vetting for over 40 years. Following two stints in Ngatea and an OE he settled in the Eastern Bay with his wife Ali, a local, and three daughters. The girls are all grown up and moved away.

Don no longer attends to small animal clients and is solely involved with large animals. He has been head of the dairy division of Bayvets and most enjoys working with cows and their owners.

Golf, tennis and some fishing fill in most of his spare time. Travel especially to more remote parts of the world has lead to some great experiences.

As he heads toward the end of his career there is still a love and interest in animals that has been lifelong. Although working three days a week now getting the best outcome for the animal and the client ensures satisfaction and keeps him coming to work.

Working with great colleagues and staff is also a great advantage in working at Bayvets
